I dream about THE FIX and wake up craving it! So far I’ve taken six different groups of friends to eat here. My favorites are the Pesto Pizza and white chocolate raspberry cheesecake. This definitely is the place for foodies!
Many Thanks,

I just went to a
new Raw foods restaurant in Nevada City. It's called "THE FIX". They
have been open 2 months, but just had their grand opening celebration
this last Friday. The shop is run as a boutique and raw food cafe in an
old horse stable - surprisingly quaint and charming beyond expectations.
The FIX is located 1 block off of the main street down town,
right next to the New Moon cafe. Look for the Boutique sign "33
degrees".
They serve Breakfast, lunch, Dinner and any kind of fresh juice or
smoothy you like as well as brew their own Kombucha.
They're Open Tuesday through
Sunday. Everything on the menu is 100% raw. I tried their pesto pizza
with sundried tomatoes, raw cheese and kalamata olives. If you go,
you have to try their KEY LIME PIE! It is the best raw desert I have
ever tasted - way better than the real thing! They have become
well-known for this desert in particular and people have been coming
from as far as Santa Cruz to get a slice!
They are doing
good business so far, and their prices are said to be 30% cheaper than
Cafe Gratitude in the bay area. Also, they have a beautiful out-door
tea cottage and patio dinning
area that is so peaceful. I had a truly uplifting experience.
I hope you are able to visit. The owners are friends of mine and I would love to hear what you guys think!
Have a great day!
Laura
